TRICHY: The Air India Express will operate daily flight services in Sharjah-Trichy- Sharjah route from September 14. Flight IX614 would depart from Sharjah at 10pm and would arrive here at 3.40am, officials said. Flight IX613 would depart from Trichy at 4.30am and reach the destination at 7am.Travel agents in Trichy said that Air India Express's new announcement is a welcome move as there has been good patronage on this route for a long time.Currently, passengers from the central region in Trichy have been depending on Sri Lankan Airlines to reach Sharjah. Otherwise, they have to go to airports in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram.
