Edited excerpts:It seems InterGlobe Aviation has formally written to Air India and shown expression of interest. If IndiGo thinks that they can do a good job with Air India, then that is good for India. It would not be a walk in the park but I am sure they have evaluated everything before making this bid.Of course nothing in the airline business is simple. Air India is an amazing brand and so I am sure that they think they can fix it. It is a very positive day for India if it is true.I know someone who worries too much about that.
