Photo: NZ Herald fileAn New Zealand Air Force Boeing involved in a drama in the skies above Auckland this morning has landed safely. Emergency services had raced to Whenuapai Air Force base where the RNZAF 757 had been preparing to make an emergency landing. Air Force crews were now checking the craft for overheating with thermal imaging cameras. New Zealand Defence Force spokeswoman Anna Norman said the plane had landed safely.
