Police arrested a man with Rs 11.08 lakh in old and new currency in Rohtak in the wee hours of Sunday. Paramjeet is an official in the Indian Air Force and was coming to Rohtak from Delhi when the police stopped him for checking. During the checking, the police found a bag with Rs 11.08 lakh (old and new currency) in his car. ”We have impounded over Rs 3 lakh from him in new currency. Around Rs 1.6 lakh are in old currency, while the rest of the money is in Rs 100, Rs 50, Rs 20 and Rs 10 notes,” said Sunita, Rohtak city station house officer.
