The Air Task Force Of “Operation Lafia Dole” says it has destroyed some gun trucks belonging to terrorists in an attack at Auno, in Borno State. The terrorists had launched an attack on Monday night in Auno at the Army Base in the community. An Air Force alpha jet and MI-35 helicopter gunship were deployed to provide close air support to the ground troops. Three gun trucks were completely destroyed, and several members of the sect were neutralized. The Air Force has been providing close air support to ground troops in the recent spike in an attack on their locations by terrorists in the North East.
