The Canadian national carrier will be using Boeing 787 Dreamliners for the over 13-hour flight. Air Canada looks set to launch a seasonal Auckland-Vancouver service from December 12. If it turns out to be true, Air Canada will go head-to-head with Star Alliance partner Air New Zealand. Canada in particular has increased by 18 per cent, with significant growth in travel to Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. Founded in 1937, Air Canada flies to over 200 destinations, including Australian cities Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
