Dignity Operation fighter aircraft haphazardly bombed Tuesday morning the residential area in Al-Fatayeh district, Derna. “Haftar is bombing Al-Fatayeh to coerce residents to leave.” A source from Derna Shura Council indicated. Clashes found their way into the district on Monday evening in Derna’s Martuba suburban town, where Haftar’s militias and Derna Shura Council fought following the declaration of Al-Fatahyeh as a military zone by the self-styled Al-Mukhtar Operations Room. Light and medium weapons were used in the clashes between the two parties in the vicinity of Omar Al-Mukhtar University building in Derna and no casualties were reported, media says. Derna has been undergoing an inhumane siege by the Dignity Operation forces for months with recurrent airstrikes following the liberation of the city from IS militants by the city’s revolutionaries.
