Legendary comedian Umer Sharif has flown to the United States for medical treatment through an air ambulance, a close family member of the celebrated artist confirmed. "He [Umer Sharif] has flown Shukar Alhamdulillah (with the blessing of Allah)," the family member said. Sharif was due to travel to the US on Sunday but he could not because of his deteriorating health condition. Umer Sharif is all set to fly out to the United States. The artist was taken to the airport where he travelled to Washington for his treatment in an air ambulance.
