(Representational)The sanitation workers called off their strike on Tuesday after a three-member committee constituted by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) assured them of looking into their demands including right of compassionate jobs to their kin. The representatives of Ahmedabad Municipal Servants’ Association reached AMC headquarters Tuesday afternoon to stage a dharna. The sanitation workers have been sitting on a dharna outside AMC‘s North West zone office since December 24.
