Amidst political campaigning, the Bharatiya Janta Party was found using bus stand of Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) some tree guards and electric poles in Science city road locality on Saturday, while some commercial complexes and buildings were draped with party flags. As per the Model Code of Conduct not a single political party is allowed to use government premises and properties for political campaign. "We have received a complaint regarding the Science city road and we've sent a team to remove it," said Vikrant Pandey, Ahmedabad collector. "No political party is allowed to use government premises for the political campaign. According to sources, this was because of under the influence of a political party and a ward level estate officer had confessed the same.
