Yannick Zakri has revealed that North African giants Al Ahly, Zamalek and Wydad Casablanca were interested in signing him before he opted to join Sundowns. Zakri revealed the interest in him in his post match comments: “Before I come to Sundowns, Al Ahly, Zamalek and even Wydad (were interested). Zakri has previously scored against Egyptian giants Al Ahly in last year’s ASEC 2-1 win over the Red Devils at Borg El-Arab Stadium.
