He has also gone ahead to lift the ban placed on the MP and members of his campaign team – from campaigning on his land – by his Upper Dixcove traditional council. The Council last week poured libation and invoked curses on the MP and his supporters for denigrating the Hima Dekyi Stool. Speaking on the occasion of his five years’ rule as Omanhen of Upper Dixcove, Obrempong Hima Dekyi XIV indicated that once an apology has been rendered, everything should go back to normalcy.
