KUALA LUMPUR: Police busted the Ah Leong gang with the arrest of seven men, including its mastermind on Nov 2. The gang had been active in breaking into houses in Cheras and other areas in Klang Valley since September. Elaborating on stolen rifle case, Mazlan said the gang had poisoned a pit bull in order to gain access into the house. "The first arrest involved the 41-year-old mastermind, who was picked up from a house in Taman Sungai Besi Indah. Mazlan said with the arrest, police had solved six house break-in cases in Cheras, Sri Petaling and Kajang.
