Under the agreement, CAT will be responsible for designing, developing and managing telecommunication infrastructure to support cooperation with PTT and its affiliates in all areas. The companies said the cooperation would expand the potential of CAT and PTT in providing services to the public, increase the nation’s competitiveness in the international arena, and reduce redundant investments in the long run by maximizing the resources of both companies. With accumulated experience and expertise, PTT will reinforce the development of technology and innovation regarding energy, robotics, automation, and intelligent systems as well as manage infrastructure and public utilities including energy, water, and waste management system in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the companies said. The term “S-curve” refers to the trajectory of new industries that have different needs at different stages of their business cycles.
