Occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms have been forecast for this afternoon and tonight in Hong Kong. A thunderstorm warning has been extended until 3:30 p.m. today. The Hong Kong Observatory also predicts showers in the next couple of days. Showers will ease off on Friday. More than 30 millimeters of rain were recorded over Southern District this morning, the HKO says.
