After over 50 years in music, Aretha Franklin is retiring. The album will be an ode to Detroit and will be recorded there, featuring production by Stevie Wonder. In large part, Franklin said she’s looking forward to the time off and spending it with her family. “I feel very, very enriched and satisfied with respect to where my career came from and where it is now,” Franklin said. “I’ll be pretty much satisfied, but I’m not going to go anywhere and just sit down and do nothing.
