Las Vegas’ new NHL team has only played two games thus far, but they’ve already seen fit to throw shade at one of the league’s most storied franchises. The Vegas Golden Knights have won both of their two pre-season games, against Vancouver and Colorado, respectively. In response, the Vegas team then slammed the sanctity of the Original Six. The Canadiens have won a total of 24 Stanley Cups, more than any other NHL franchise. Based at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas strip, the Golden Knights begin their first year with a roster composed primarily of Canadians.
