KUALA LUMPUR: Former PPBM Srikandi chief Anina Saadudin today said she is not surprised that Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had refused to debate with her. Earlier today, Muhyiddin brushed aside the challenge from Anina for a debate on any current issue, saying she has no legitimate standing to debate with him as she was no longer a PPBM member. Anina said Muhyiddin's dismissal of her invitation for a debate only serves to vindicate her decision to quit the party. "As Anina is a founding member of PPBM, her early exit will bring much uncertainty for the newly established party. "Her followers will definitely be displeased and they may influence other party ranks," he said.
