Around three years after the deadly crash, Indonesian government has finally lifted the ban on the Boeing 737 MAX, the transport ministry of the country said on Tuesday. In the crash, all 189 people on board this kind of aircraft, which was operated by domestic carrier Lion Air, had died. After another deadly mishap in March 2019, which involved similar aircraft operated by Ethiopian Airlines, aviation authorities around the world grounded this plane. It also follows lifting of grounding orders in countries, such as Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Australia and Ethiopia.
