The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack on the hospital through its Amaq News Agency, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, hours after the Taliban denied involvement. Despite that, the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an increasing number of suicide missions in Kabul, the one on the hospital being the most sophisticated.
