Pakistani and Indian cricketers will play in the same team in the Afro-Asia Cup. According to reports, the Africa Cricket Association has decided to revive the Afro-Asia Cup after almost two decades. The Afro-Asia Cup has been played twice before in 2005 and 2007, the first edition in 2005 was played in South Africa and the second edition in 2007 in India, the third edition was scheduled in 2009 in Kenya which did not take place. If the tournament is resumed, the Asian XI will play against the African XI, which will provide an opportunity for Indian and Pakistani cricketers to play for the same team in the Asia XI. In the past, legends like Inzamam-ul-Haq, MS Dhoni, Mohammad Yousuf, Shoaib Akhtar and Sachin Tendulkar have represented the Asia XI.
