After 16 days, Jammu and Kashmir Govt. to lift ban on post-paid mobile phones


Internet services and mobile telephony was suspended immediately after Wani was killed in an encounter on July 8. However, it had no word on the internet services and pre-paid mobiles, which constitutes the bulk of cellphone users. A police spokesman said in Srinagar said, "All post-paid mobile services were being restored tonight". Meanwhile, barred internet services in winter capital Jammu was restarted on Monday. First, mobile services were withdrawn and later internet connection was downed across Kashmir Valley.
