African Leaders Meet in Ethiopia for AU SummitJanuary 28, 2018 - Focusing on structural reform of the AU, the continental free trade area (CFTA), and agricultural transformation scorecard, African leaders are deliberating in Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa. The leaders are expected to discuss a number of issues and pass major decisions during the two days.The state of peace and security in the continent, migration, climate change, among others will be discussed by the leaders. The leaders will launch the AU theme of 2018 “Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation” and the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM).
