Ugandan President, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni says Africa should have taken steps to stop a North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO, military intervention in Libya in 2011. He said that military intervention should have been pursued to save the North African country currently embroiled in armed conflict. Speaking to the BBC in London where he attended the first United Kingdom – Africa summit, Museveni said:“The African countries should not have allowed Western countries to attack Libya.
