This is stated in the most recent Africa Energy Review 2024 by PwC. The report shows that efforts to improve energy access and electrification are bearing fruit, notably in East Africa. The report states that countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania are advancing renewable energy and rural electrification.
