Goa's Director General of Police Muktesh Chander has made an appeal to people to boycott Karan Johar 's latest film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' for allegedly insulting legendary playback singer Mohammad Rafi.Chander is upset over the dialogue in the movie which allegedly equates singing of Rafi to crying. In the film, Anushka Sharma is seen telling Ranbir Kapoor , "Mohammad Rafi? Woh gaate kam, rote zyada the na? "The singer's family has taken objection to the dialogue in the movie which was embroiled in a controversy before its release as it featured Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. "Md Rafi was one of the greatest singers of India and needs no certificate from anyone.
