The developers of the Christchurch Adventure Park (pictured) are now working to build an adventure park in Cromwell, Central Otago. An adventure park developer is partnering with a motorsport mogul to tap into Central Otago's growing adrenaline-seeking tourist market. Big Daddy Adventures, the company behind the Christchurch Adventure Park and proposed Porirua Adventure Park, plans to start building an adventure swing operation on Northburn Station, near Cromwell, in summer. It will be based at Highlands Motorsport Park, owned by entrepreneur and self-made millionaire Tony Quinn. The two companies planned to package their offerings to help make Central Otago an adventure destination in its own right.
