He was also suspended when he went to a nightclub after PSG's 3-1 loss to Manchester United in the Champions League last-16 and liked an Instagram post by Patrice Evra celebrating the win. He is now in discussions with the hierarchy over a mutual separation, a move which could see Rabiot return to favour and even sign a new contract. It would provide a blow to the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool , who have been linked with a bargain free transfer move for the player after his contract expires at the end of the month. Rabiot had a small taste of English football in the past, as he spent six months at Manchester City's youth team in 2008 before moving on to French side Pau FC.
