PETALING JAYA: The time has come for the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government to admit it has failed in managing the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, following the record-high spike in new cases today. His comments come in the wake of the health ministry’s announcement that a new daily record of 2,593 new cases were recorded in the 24 hours ending noon today. “It is disappointing that the daily Covid-19 cases hit a new record today. Najib added that the national case number is expected to exceed Myanmar in a matter of two days. Today’s daily cases pushed the total number of cases to 125,438.
