'Adiwiraku' wins Best Film at 29th Malaysia Film Festival - Nation


KUALA LUMPUR: Adiwiraku bagged the main prize at the 29th Malaysia Film Festival when it was named Best Film. Sangeeta Krishnasamy took home the award for Best Actress for her role in the film as a teacher struggling to inspire her students to victory. Autism family drama Redha took home four awards for Best Actor (Namrom), Best New Actress (June Lojong), Best Child Actor (Harith Haziq) and Best New Director (Tunku Mona Riza). Interchange's Dain Said was named Best Director and star Shaheizy Sam won Best Supporting Actor. Another big winner was period piece Hanyut that bagged awards for Best Costume Design, Best Art Direction and Best Supporting Actress for Diana Danielle.
