Students belonging to indigenous communities demonstrated in Khagrachhari town Sunday demanding justice for the killings of Romel Chakma, Sadikul Islam and Eti Chakma. They brought out a procession under the banner of Socialist Students’ Front (SSF) in the afternoon, and held a rally. Starting from Shapla Chhattar, the procession paraded important streets of the town before ending at Muktomoncho. SSF Khagrachhari unit President Kabir Hossain and its General Secretary Arindam Krishna Dey, among others, addressed the rally. Romel, general secretary of Naniarchar upazila unit Pahari Chhatra Parishad (PCP), was picked up by some army personnel on April 5.
