The Director General of the Gboyega Oyetola IleriOluwa campaign organization in the Osun 2018 gubernatorial election, Hon Ajibola Famurewa has cautioned the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, to stop confusing Osun citizens with the plethora of what he described as his bad case at the ongoing litigation which will terminate this Friday at the Supreme Court. Famurewa in a statement on Sunday stated that it is normal for every human being to desire and aspire for positions and be ambitious, adding that it becomes laughable when they covertly and overtly play to the gallery mischievously in a bid to mislead and misinform the citizens. Reacting to a newspaper publication credited to Adeleke, where he boastfully confirmed that he will be declared as Osun state governor on Friday by the Supreme Court, the former lawmaker said, “the Friday he referred to in the statement is an impossible future tense which can only be actualised in a dream by drunkards and jesters. The case before the court as filed by PDP is considerably a time-wasting mechanism and ploy to keep their members unnecessarily busy doing nothing. “And the antics of the PDP in continually blackmailing the Supreme Court Justices using pseudo and unregistered civil society organizations will not stand; orchestrating fabricated lies and throwing decency and decorum into the wind will not postpone the defeat of the PDP and her candidate and this represents the generality of opinions of those who want the development of our dear state,” he stated.
