There were fears she’d never tour again, but superstar Adele is set for a staggering £100million return to the stage. But as well as ending her five-year recording hiatus, the 32-year-old mum plans a global comeback tour, to be unveiled next year. If the tour goes ahead as planned, Adele could rake in £100million on ticket sales alone, based on earnings from her 16 months on the road that ended in June 2017. Newly uncovered figures show she made £70million from tickets for the 121 gigs on her Adele Live tour, and £142million overall. She told fans: “I wanted my final shows in London – I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again.”
