PERFORMERS in an Ethiopian circus act forced to cancel shows at the Fringe due to visa issues have been granted entry to the country. Circus Abyssinia: Ethiopian Dreams was due to perform at the Royal Croquet Club’s grand auditorium from Friday night. However, six of the circus’s shows scheduled over the weekend were cancelled, after the immigration department last week asked all the performers to reapply for visas. But the youngest performer was still waiting to find out it they would perform in Adelaide due to “paper work issues”. We hope that Adelaide comes out to really support them because it has been quite stressful for the company.”After Adelaide, the circus will head to London for a six-week season.
