Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, Director-General of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), has tasked corps members to leave a positive impact and add value to any community they find themselves in, during their service year. The DG gave this charge, on Tuesday, September 22, during the closing ceremony of the 2021 Batch ‘B’, Stream II corps members at the permanent orientation camp, Iseyin. Ibrahim, in a statement delivered by the Oyo State Coordinator, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe, urged the corps members to accept their posting to any location and ensure they add value to the communities they find themselves in. The NYSC DG further charged the corps members to shun every form of societal vices including drug abuse, advance-fee fraud, cybercrime and cultism throughout the period of their service year in the State. Ibrahim also urged the newly sworn-in corps members to utilise the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme availed to them during the orientation course.
