TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Adata Technology Co. (威剛科技), Taiwan's biggest memory module maker, announced a foray into artificial intelligence on Wednesday. Adata said it would bring together expertise in software, hardware, firmware, voice recognition, image recognition and AI to develop 10 service-oriented companion robots for home use. In a statement, Adata said it had high expectations for the AI market, which it saw as a high profit-margin business that could lead the company to the next stage of its revenue growth. According to market estimates, the global AI industry output value from 2025 to 2030 is set to see rapid growth to up to US$500 billion, the statement said. Through Adata's years of building a brand and channels in the global industry, it is well-positioned to partner with Taiwan industry.
