PETALING JAYA: An early setback could not take the wind out of Malaysian Adam Norrodin’s sail in the CEV European Championship at the Jerez Circuit in Spain. The Liqui Moly Intact SIC Junior team rider was rushed to the hospital after a nasty crash during the free practice two on Thursday but fortunately, the Moto2 rider was given a clean bill of health. Adam returned to the track yesterday to clock 1:44.15 in the qualifying one and posted 1:43.974 in qualifying two for a combined seventh position which earned him the seventh spot on the grid. It was a big crash and I’m glad that I didn’t pick up any serious injuries,” said Adam. Thank God, I didn’t lose my qualifying spot.
