Lallana has suffered with recurring injury issues, and Milan are not thought to be willing to take the risk on the former England international despite the fact they would not require a transfer fee to sign him. It remains to be seen whether any other teams come in for the 31-year-old, but speaking about Lallana in November Klopp remained noncommittal about his future. Milan will turn their attention towards other targets, with the team in desperate need of strengthening after a disappointing season which saw them sitting in seventh place in Serie A before the campaign was suspended.
