GILFORD — Adam Hirshan of Gilford has been named vice president of USTA New England. Hirshan joined the New England board in 2015. A lifetime tennis enthusiast, Hirshan plays recreationally at Gilford Hills Tennis Club and competes in USTA League Tennis on teams out of Algonquin Tennis Center in Hooksett and Mountainside Racquet and Fitness in New London. USTA, which presents the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, is committed to promoting and developing the growth of tennis. Adam Hirshan
