My soul quavers each time I read a lachrymose Twitter broadside about some dude in a Starbucks line who said one too many things about coffee beans and now he’s been tossed to the internet wolves for “mansplaining.”The problem isn’t sex-specific—it isn’t mansplaining, it’s humansplaining. People of both sexes imagine they are the go-to authority on—well, anything they care to be.
