TORONTO — A Canadian actress whose face was disfigured while shooting a horror film in Winnipeg is suing its producers. Taylor Hickson alleges in a lawsuit filed last week with the Court of Queen’s Bench that the Winnipeg-based Incident Productions Inc. was negligent in taking reasonable steps to ensure her safety. The suit says the glass shattered, causing Hickson to fall through the door and suffer a bad cut to her face. None of the claims have been tested in court. Hickson’s lawyer Jason Harvey says Incident Productions Inc. has yet to respond to the allegations.
