Hollywood actress Mia Farrow is considering a move to Roscommon. In a Twitter exchange with fellow thespian Chris O’Dowd last week, Farrow spoke of her intentions. Im thinking of moving back to Roscommon,” she tweeted. Her late mother, the actress Maureen O’Sullivan, who was famed for playing Jane in the Tarzan films, was born in Boyle. At the Oscar Wilde Awards in 2019, O’Dowd spoke about how O’Sullivan’s return to Boyle in 1988 was honoured by the town.
