Shimla said she met Palash back in September 12, 2017 at the birthday party of a film director. The National Film Award winning actor said that Palash’s psychological condition was one of the main reasons behind their separation. On Sunday evening, an armed Palash managed to hijack Biman’s Dubai-bound Flight BG-147 mid-air after it took off from Dhaka. Palash did not harm any passengers or crew members, but had demanded to talk to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and his wife — who later turned out to be his former wife Shimla. Afterwards, it became public knowledge that he was married to actor Shimla.
