Her acting career took off with the BTV fiction Kalo Kokil. She made her way into the film industry with Bulbul Ahmed's 1987 film Rajlakshmi Srikanta (1987). She has acted in many television serials, including Gulshan Avenue, Nandini, Ghotok Pakhi Bhai, Neel Jochonai Kalo Shaap, and Shongshoptok.
