SHAH ALAM: Actor Datuk Farid Kamil is set to be charged with giving false evidence. Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said Farid would be charged at the Petaling Jaya magistrates courts on Friday (March 9). The actor was then charged on Jan 25 with self administering THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), one of the active components in ganja. Farid later lodged a report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station alleging that a few individuals had spiked his drink with drugs prior to his altercation with the police in January.
