Photo: League of Social Democrats' Facebook page. The police have issued fixed penalty notices to eight League of Social Democrats members, including its chairman Raphael Wong Ho-ming and former lawmaker Leung Kwok-hung for breaching social distancing measures. They were protesting against the decision to oppose the Confederation of Trade Unions' Labor Day march tomorrow outside the police headquarters in Wan Chai today. Leung argued that they had already maintain a distance of 1.5 meters and were not in groups of more than four as required by the government. Wong said they will not pay the HK$2,000 fine while Leung criticized the police for using social distancing measures to suppress dissents and indiscriminately arresting and prosecuting pan-democrats.
