Bobby Kotick, the long-serving CEO of Activision Blizzard for 32 years a day to retire officially on December 29 in order with an ongoing restructuring effort followed by Microsoft’s acquisition. In an email issued to employees and published by the Activision Blizzard newspaper, Kotick said he was long-term manager. Just this week, the California Civil Rights Commission reached a $54 million settlement with Activision Blizzard over these claims. Also, controversial Activision Blizzard CCO Lulu Meservey will quit the company at a time of just about three years. Meservy took a stand almost immediately after her 2022 appointment, pushing back against an ongoing collective bargaining attempt by Activision Blizzard employees.
