ANGELES CITY––The active COVID-19 cases in this city surpassed the 900-mark after 122 new patients and 23 recoveries were recorded on Tuesday, Aug. 17. The city also registered a single death in Barangay Pulung Maragul, bringing its total COVID-19 fatality to 356. This city has recorded a total of 8,342 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. In the neighboring Mabalacat City, the active COVID-19 cases climbed to 532, including 41 new ones on Tuesday. The component city had recorded 4,979 COVID-19 cases since last year.
