He spoke to his colleagues at a full court meeting of the judges of the Appellate Division and High Court Division on Monday. The rare SC statement was issued after Justice Sinha had issued a media statement on Friday when he was leaving home for Australia. Justice Sinha told reporters that "he was not ill, rather embarrassed" by the behaviour of the government. Following Saturday's statement, Acting Chief Justice Wahhab convened the full apex court meeting for Monday. Attorney General Mahbubey Alam earlier said the SC statement became necessary following the situation Justice Sinha created by his statement to the media.
