Over phone from Mumbai, she says, “I was very active in theatre throughout school and college. If I can do this, then I am ready to come back into the world,” she says. The play is about a woman trying to find herself and her voice, and reclaim a place in the world. Drama Queen is a combination of a play, a stand-up and a musical comedy as we were trying a new format. I can’t talk to anybody, I sit quietly in the green room and don’t let anybody come and meet me.
